NSA Leaker Edward Snowden : I'm not Traitor, I'm American
(South China Morning Post) Surveillance whistleblower Edward Snowden has
spoken for the first time since blowing his own cover in an exclusive
interview with the South China Morning Post.
The ex-CIA analyst
has been holed up in secret locations in Hong Kong since fleeing Hawaii
ahead of highly sensitive leaks revealing details of US top-secret phone
and internet surveillance of its citizens.
Snowden's actions have been both praised and condemned globally.
But he told Post reporter Lana Lam: "I'm neither traitor nor hero. I'm an American."

The
29-year-old was working for defence contractor Booz Allen Hamilton at
the National Security Agency (NSA), the biggest spy surveillance
organisation in the world, when he leaked information claiming the US
was systematically seizing vast amounts of phone and web data. Snowden
fled to Hong Kong after using Britain's Guardian newspaper to expose the
agency's PRISM program which gives officials easy access to data held
by nine of the world's top internet companies, including Google,
Facebook, Microsoft and Skype.

He vowed to
fight any extradition attempt by the US government, saying: "My
intention is to ask the courts and people of Hong Kong to decide my
fate. I have been given no reason to doubt your system.''
It is
believed the US is pursuing a criminal investigation, but no extradition
request has yet been filed. Hong Kong has an extradition treaty with
the US, although analysts say any attempts to bring Mr Snowden to
America may take months and could be blocked by Beijing.
His
actions have been both praised and condemned globally, with some hailing
him a hero while others a traitor. Some senators have accused Snowden
of treason.

Turkey On The Brink : Ezekiel 38 Prophecy
Ezekiel 34:13, 36:24, 37:12, 38:8, and 39:27-28 all talk about the Jews being re-gathered out from the nations of the world back into the Holy Land of Israel. By the time one reads through Ezekiel 34-39 they are left with the indelible impression that in the last days, the Jews will be re-gathered into Israel. There is absolutely no way to draw any other conclusion!
Therefore, it stands to reason contextually that because Ezekiel 35 is huddled in the midst of the above chapters, it must have some association with the Jews, Israel, and the end times. Pivotally Ezekiel 35:5, which will be displayed below, informs that the Arabs possess an ancient hatred of the Jews that prompts Arabs to shed Jewish blood in the end times. Presuming mankind has been plunged into this final perilous period, a comprehensive study of Ezekiel 35 should underscore the present Arab-Israeli predicament in the Middle East. Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying, “Son of man, set your face against Mount Seir and prophesy against it, and say to it, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Behold, O Mount Seir, I am against you; I will stretch out My hand against you, And make you most desolate; I shall lay your cities waste, And you shall be desolate. Then you shall know that I am the LORD. ((Ezekiel 35:1-4, NKJV; emphasis added).
Ezekiel begins with the word “moreover,” which implies a continuation from the previous chapter 34. Ezekiel 34, concluded with an end-times’ depiction of the Jews being re-gathered into Israel, restored as God’s people, and being blessed. From other Scriptures, we recognize that Israel becomes blessed during the messianic kingdom, but before this is re-gathered in a condition of unbelief in preparation for judgment.
The Secret NSA Surveillance program PRISM EXPOSED
Ex-CIA employee, Edward Snowden, working as a contractor at the U.S. National Security Agency says he leaked details of a top secret U.S. surveillance program, Prism, acting out of conscience to protect "basic liberties for people around the world."
The National Security Agency has obtained direct access to the systems of Google, Facebook, Apple and other US internet giants, according to a top secret document obtained by the Guardian.
The NSA access is part of a previously undisclosed program called PRISM, which allows officials to collect material including search history, the content of emails, file transfers and live chats, the document says.
The Guardian has verified the authenticity of the document, a 41-slide PowerPoint presentation -- classified as top secret with no distribution to foreign allies -- which was apparently used to train intelligence operatives on the capabilities of the program. The document claims "collection directly from the servers" of major US service providers.
